Popular advertisement filmmaker Thyagarajan Kumararaja has managed a coup of sorts by bringing to act in his maiden venture as director.jackie
had already reported that Jackie Shroff will play hero in Tamil for the first time and that the movie has been christened 'Aaranya Kaandam', which would be produced by S P B Charan.
When queried as to how he managed to convince Jackie, Kumararaja says, 'the role required a senior person. I got to meet Shroff through a friend. He liked the story and immediately agreed to be a part of it'.
The cast also includes Ravi Krishna, Sampath and Somasundaram of Kooththu-p-pattarai.
